As soon as you arrive at Bach Ma National Park, you will be instantly amazed by the breathtaking view. The national park was established in 1991 with the total area of 22.031 hectares and was later expanded in 2008 in order to better protect the ecological system.


You will be surrounded by the green forests and exotic wildlife all throughout the park. This is a place where biodiversity is very well respected and preserved. There is up to 1,406 species in the flora system and 931 species in the fauna system. This includes 83 species of animals, 333 species of birds, 31 species of reptiles, 39 species of fishes, and many species of butterflies, insects, ants, etc.


Plus, there are 358 species of birds that can be found in the park that account for more than one-third of the bird species of Vietnam. Some of the most significant birds of in the region are the fabulous crested Argus pheasant and the tenacious Edwards’ pheasant, which is the symbol of Bach Ma National Park and was thought to be extinct for 50 years. Numerous bird species like pigeons, bulbuls, malkohas, crow pheasant, herons and egrets but sights of parakeets, kingfishers or jungle fowl are all likely to be seen if you are looking to do some good bird watching.


With the beautiful natural scenery as well as the fresh and cool climate due the beach being only about 18km away, Bach Ma national park can be considered as the most precious ecological tourism center in the region. Tourists visiting Bach Ma will also have the chance to explore the mysterious tourist paths such as the Tri Sao path, Do quyen path, Ngu Ho (Five-lakes) path, Hai Vong Dai path. Tourists can also observe the collapsed buildings, which were once constructed under the French colonial period, on the peak and surrounding mountain sides. As you reach the highest peak, which is up to 1.450 meters high, you will be amazed by the scenic view over the continuous mountain ranges and steep peaks. The amazing landscape will truly make you feel like you are in a real paradise!
