Referring to Hue, everyone usually thinks about palatial palaces and temples which bring a breath ancient royal splendor. Who also wants to travel in Hue to see firsthand those lively witnesses from the last feudal dynasty. What is more, its tender look and slow life here are much loved.
Including me, I was very happy when being received a travel ticket to Hue on my 20th birthday from my sister. A word “happy” could not express my all feelings at that time. We had an unforgettable and wonderful memory there.
Hue is a city which is filled mostly by trees, so the
weather here is very cool, fresh and quiet. However, the city is not less busy
and crowded than others. The city now has many hotels and restaurants which
provide full of service for customers such as food and accommodation. Each
year, the city celebrates the fantastic festival to introduce the Vietnamese
traditional food, flowers, trees, kite flying and Vietnamese traditional
costumes. Throughout the city, the ancient tombs, temples and gardens of age
with a few hundred years old are still preserved.

With Hue tour of travel agency, I can sightsee this heritage city with my friends easily. We very surprised about this city, although it's small but there is a lot of architecture have built since Nguyen Dynasty is still remaining until now. Not only to visit, but also we joined with everyone in public activities by night.
Dong Ba market
This is the city’s biggest commercial center where you can
buy what you’d like, from electronics to incense to housewares to clothing and
accessories. All of the most special cultural gifts and souvenirs that remain
until today can be found in Dong Ba Market. They include “Non La Bai Tho”
(conical hats having poems woven into their design) from Phu Cam Village, which
is made of latanier leaves; Me Xung (candies), Truoi berries, Tuan tea, tom
chua (Hue Sour Shrimp), lotus seed of Tinh Tam Lake, etc. Traditional food such
as mussel rice, beef vermicelli, leaves cakes, etc. can be purchased in the
market, too.
Hue Imperial Citadel
The Imperial City of Hue was actually a walled fortress and
palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the
Nguyen Dynasty for 140 years date back from 1805 until 1945.
The very first stop-over is the exterior circle, the Kinh
Thanh Hue (Hue capital citadel), which started to be constructed in 1805 under
the reign of Emperor Gia Long and was completed in 1832 under the sovereignty
of Emperor Ming Mang. Over the past 200 years, it has still maintained original
with nearly 140 small and large constructions. With a square shape, it is
almost 10km in circumference, 6m high, 21m thick, with 10 entrances. On the top
of the walls, 24 bastions are established for defensive purposes. Besides, the
Citadel has an ancillary gate connecting the Tran Binh Bastion called the Tran
Binh Mon (Peaceful protector Gate).
Thien Mu Pagoda (Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda)
Located on the bank of the poetic Perfume River together
with its typical traditional architecture of Hue pagodas, Thien Mu Pagoda has
become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hue City. It is
recommended that visitors going on a city tour Hue visiting this pagoda
in the afternoon so they can observe the monks' praying time inside the pagoda
as well as enjoy the beautiful sunset on the Perfume River.
Perfume River (Hương River)
As one of the most popular attractions in this romantic

If having more chance , I will explore Hue again to contemplate the rest of beauties which I have yet explored.

Explore Hue with new experiences
Hue autumn and us ...
We arrived Hue last autumn. We didn't know what the best choice to explore this heritage city is. At first we decided to book a Hue Tour from a travel agency the same as other guest. But we changed my mind when i saw special vehicles on the way. It looked like a Bicycle but there were 3 wheels. I asked the staff of the travel agency and they called them "Cyclo", but there wasn't cyclo tour except booking a "Street food tour", so we booked a private tour with cyclo.

Everything is as our plan. In the morning, Tour Hue by cyclo pick us up at our hotel and the guide followed us by motorbike. We passed Truong Tien bridge and stopped at Imperial Citadel, we explored inside this palace. Then we sightsee around this area by cyclo. To continue the journey, we transfered to Dong Ba market. It was amazing because we could enjoy local food, bought souvenirs which were cheaper than in the shop near destinations and watched "little business woman".
After that, cyclo picked us up again and we departed to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Before we arrived pagoda we had had lunch at a local food stall with traditional cakes: Beo, Nam, Loc. Besides, after visiting Thien Mu, we got on the boat to cruise on Perfume river to enjoy fresh cool air and watch local people life on 2 banks. We stoped at the boat station stand by office which we booked the tour. We walked to take a rest, relax and continued our journey.

Moreover, we really like to discover main points in Hue, so we hired a motorbike to explore royal tombs. But all destinations in Hue close at 5h00 pm, so we decided to visit 2 tombs (instead of 3 as our first plan). we visited Tu Duc tomb and Khai Dinh tomb.
